I was born in the South of Norway in 1946. I studied social work, psychology and some language and was involved in politicks against the wars and the emerging European Union. In 1976 I was banned from office and started a career as a foreign correspondent for Scandinavian newspapers. I have also done radio and tv. I worked the Middle East and the Horn of Africa for some 15 years, living in Palestine, Egypt and Israel.


I have published two Norwegian novels and a Danish one
and translated numerous American ones.

I'm still a Norwegian citizen but live in Tavira.
